Curious Nature Apothecary products are made with beautiful, real botanicals. Though the lack of synthetic ingredients makes true natural products a great choice for most individuals, it is still possible to react to plant based ingredients. Please know your allergies and, if in doubt, perform a patch test when using a product that is new to you. Of course, discontinue use in the case of any irritation.
Lacking synthetic preservatives, Curious Nature Apothecary products require just a bit of care when it comes to storage and use. First, they are made in small batches and meant to be used while fresh! When used regularly and as intended you should never have an issue with spoilage. To prevent the premature breakdown of delicate ingredients, please store away from light and heat. Avoid introducing water into your CN Apothecary products, as even those with natural antibacterial properties are too gentle to fight the molds that want to live in wet places. Use clean, dry utensils or clean, dry hands to dispense.
The responsible and ethical use of essential oils is of utmost importance to us, and your safe enjoyment of Curious Nature Apothecary products is a top priority. We blend with a light hand, as less is often more when it comes to these precious, concentrated essences. Some things to keep in mind:
- Special care should always be used by pregnant or nursing women. We recommend checking with your doctor before using any product containing essential oils.
- Our products are not designed for use by children, whose more delicate mucous membranes and systems are vulnerable to irritation from concentrated essential oils.
- Please keep all of your essential oil containing products away from children and pets!
We want you to feel completely comfortable using our products. Should you ever have questions or concerns please contact us.
